Kate Marlys Rodgers is the Founder and Owner of Philly PR Girl, an award-winning public relations and digital marketing agency based in Philadelphia. What began in 2010 as a creative blog highlighting the people, places, and events shaping the city has grown into a full-service agency specializing in public relations, social media, influencer marketing, event planning, and strategic communications. Over the years, Kate has helped hundreds of businesses, nonprofits, restaurants, tourism organizations, and major events tell their stories, build meaningful connections, and gain visibility through creative, strategic marketing.
A longtime fixture in Philadelphia’s entrepreneurial and creative community, Kate has been featured in Philadelphia Magazine and Philadelphia Style Magazine and has appeared on FOX29, NBC10, 6ABC, and CBS3. She has also shared her expertise at conferences, universities, and business organizations throughout the region. While Philly PR Girl has grown far beyond its original blog roots, Kate’s passion remains the same: connecting people, championing Philadelphia, and helping brands get noticed.

Kate is a sought-after speaker and moderator who has shared her expertise on public relations, entrepreneurship, social media, branding, and building a business at organizations and events including the Pennsylvania Conference for Women, Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Wharton School, Temple University, Drexel University, Rowan University, and University of Delaware.
Her work and leadership have earned her recognition including being named a Leader in the MS Leaders Circle, receiving the Who’s Next in Communications award from Billy Penn, and being honored with the “I Am Born to Make History” recognition from Influencing Action.
In 2018, Kate expanded her creative vision beyond PR by launching Photo Pop Philly, an interactive art pop-up experience created to showcase local artists and bring people together through art, culture, and social media. The venture combined her love of Philadelphia with her passion for creating experiences and further established her as a creative entrepreneur in the city.
